Cheryl Rose
Executive Assistant

Cheryl was born in Arkansas and raised in Texas where she attended East Texas State University in Commerce, Texas. Her career began in the oil and gas industry assisting the Chief Financial Officer of Wesley Energy in 1985 and later assisting the Vice President of Marketing within that organization. In 1995 Wesley Energy was sold, and Cheryl went to work for Lone Star Pipeline, a subsidiary of Lone Star Gas. She assisted the Vice President of Transportation, and when Lone Star Gas and TXU merged, Cheryl assisted the Vice President of Business Strategy, the Sr. Vice President and Principal Financial Officer, and the Sr. Vice President of Asset Management and Engineering during her tenure at TXU. In January of 2008, Cheryl went to work for Baylor Health Care System assisting the Vice President of Real Estate and moving to assist the President of the Diabetes Health and Wellness Institute. “I view my position more as a ministry than a job, and making a difference in the lives of people is my mission here at DHWI.”
