David Edwards
Community Health Educator

David Edwards was born and raised in Dallas, Texas where he attended DISD and DCCC. He has worked as a call forecast analyst, a workforce management supervisor, and finally at United Healthcare he worked as a clinical predetermination analyst. He is very excited about his new career at DHWI as a part of the Total Recreation team and as a Diabetes Health Educator. He will be working with the youth in the community, developing and enhancing youth programming to help produce positive health outcomes. David’s special interests involve youth mentoring and photography.
