Ready, set, go! These activities are designed to make you move! Join our exercise specialist and learn how to make your body work for you instead of against you. Want to learn to run? How about just being able to walk without pain or the use of a cane? Watch to catch up to your grandchildren? These activities will get you there!

S-T-R-E-T-C-H: Yoga for Seniors: A program designed for older adults to teach the basics and share the benefits and importance of stretching.
Times: Mondays and Wednesdays, 9am, Adults/Seniors, Aerobics Room.

Freedom Walk: A program designed to get participants moving and staying active. Be free to live, free to move and free to choose wellness!

Times: Mondays-Thursdays, 8:15-9:00am

Healthy Eating

Cooking Class for Adults: These classes teach members how to prepare nutritious meals and healthy snacks, for the entire family, in a kitchen-friendly setting. Various topics may include:

- Give Me Some Sugar
- Snack Attacks
- Shake and Bake
- Barbeque Showdown

Times: Wednesdays, 12pm, Adults, Kitchen

Reducing Risks

Wellness Tea Being Active: The Importance of Physical Activity: This program has discussions centered on preparing healthy recipes in a fun and exciting way. You will leave full of information and full of food! Various topics may include:

- Carbohydrates and Your Blood Sugar
- Fat and Your Cholesterol
- Salt and Your Blood Pressure
- Meat (Protein) and Your Kidneys

Times: Tuesdays, 10:30-11:30am, Adults, Kitchen

I Spy: This program focuses on understanding the importance of routine eye care for people with diabetes.

Just Smile: Concerned about your smile? Are your gums sore? This program focuses on the importance of dental health for people with diabetes.

Inspector Gadget: This program focuses on the importance of proper foot care for people with diabetes.
