Maria Dominguez
Community Health Educator

Connie Dominguez brings great deal of experience in working directly with the community, she became very interested and passionate about educating individuals regarding the prevention and management of diseases when she was given the opportunity to work as a Bilingual Health Counselor for UT Southwestern Medical Center; she counseled individuals who were at high risk of contracting HIV and STDs. Connie was born and raised in Mexico; she relocated to the Dallas area and finished her education locally. She also holds a Claims Adjuster and Real Estate license in the State of Texas. She has gained a perspective on maintaining fitness and good health throughout the lifetime, she tells us “I am enthusiastic about sharing what I have learned over the last few years, and teaching others easy yet useful ways to reach and maintain their health goals.” She is ready and excited to start her new career as a Health Educator with DHWI.
