Meet Us

Misty Jones, MPH, RD, LD, CDE
Certified Diabetes Educator

Misty is a registered and licensed dietitian, as well as an American Association of Diabetes Educators (AADE) certified diabetes educator. She also has a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree, specializing in community health. She has served within the Baylor Healthcare System in various professional positions, most recently as the Baylor University Medical Center (BUMC) Inpatient Diabetes Educator. She also has a Certificate of Training in Adolescent and Childhood Weight Management and a Certificate of Training in Adult Weight Management. She has developed and taught professional and community programs, and is a regular speaker at the Heart Well Forum at BHVH. Misty is a Dallas-native and a Texas Exes (Hook ‘em Horns!), avid reader and nature lover. She is a strong believer in the pursuit of purpose and passion with divine intervention. She is an ecstatic member of the DHWI wellness team and excited about following her passion of helping those living with diabetes.
