Rev. Alfred M. Walker, M.Div.
Pastor and Chaplain
Reverend Walker is a native of Augusta, Georgia. He is a graduate of Morehouse College in Atlanta Georgia where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Religion. He also earned the Master of Divinity Degree from Morehouse School of Religion, in affiliation with the Interdenominational Theological Center. His concentration at that time was in Psychology of Religion and Pastoral Care. Prior to answering the call to pastor the Historic New Hope Baptist Church of Dallas, Texas, he pastored Liberty Baptist Church in Augusta, Georgia. He also served as President of the Augusta NAACP. He is a member of the African American Pastors’ Coalition, where he serves as Chairman of the PAC. He is the organizer and President of the South Dallas H.O.P.E. Initiative. He currently serves as Vice-Moderator of the Northwestern District Association and President of the Political Action Commission for the BM&E State Convention of Texas.
